We already run LiDAR flights. What does Aria add?
LiDAR tells you the condition on the day of the flight. It does not tell you whether the contractor billed what they trimmed, whether the foreman patrol a month later agrees with the lidar delta, or whether the cycle clock per circuit is on track. Aria reconciles those three sources into one ledger your prudence file can cite.How do you handle the fact that our cycle standard varies by region?
The cycle clock is per circuit class, not per utility. Urban 4kV, rural 12kV, and transmission spans carry different approved cycles in most service territories. Aria reads those standards from your vegetation manual and applies them per span. Regional variance is instrumented rather than hidden.Can you integrate with our contractor’s production reporting?
Yes. Most contractor production systems emit a daily report to the WMS or an email attachment to the forester. Aria parses either source. The reconciliation against satellite-confirmed acres runs nightly once the feed is live.What about FERC Order 693 and transmission vegetation?
Transmission spans subject to FAC-003 are tracked on their annual compliance schedule separately from distribution cycles. Aria’s evidence archive meets the record-retention requirement and surfaces any span approaching its inspection window. We do not replace your NERC compliance program; we instrument the evidence it depends on.Does this work for wildfire-mitigation plan reporting?
Yes. Circuits eligible under the WMP are tagged at intake, and the ledger emits the quarterly and annual reports in the format your state commission requires. California, Oregon, and Washington filers have the heaviest reporting burden; our template library covers each.How does Aria handle storm-driven emergency trimming?
Emergency work is recorded against the storm event, not the scheduled cycle. The ledger preserves the distinction because intervenors and commission staff test it during prudence review. Storm-driven trim does not clear a cycle; it documents a response.What if our WMS does not reliably capture span-level completion?
Most WMS implementations do not, which is why the reconciliation matters. Aria uses geotagged photographs, satellite deltas, and the contractor’s own geospatial capture to stand up a parallel span-level completion record. The WMS is one source among three, not the source of truth.
